David VanMeter - 'It's the People That Make the Difference'

Averitt sales team member David VanMeter has been a part of our team since 1995 and has served in many different roles during his time in the transportation industry - everything from driver to operations and now to sales. 

According to David, he says "it's the people that make the difference" in the day-to-day culture of Averitt. From the admin group who ensures accurate information to the dock associate who loads the shipments carefully to the driver who makes the pickups and deliveries, it's all a part of what we call "The Power of One" - all of us, working together, to help others succeed.
