Setting the professional standard
Raising the Bar for Image in Transportation
You’ve probably already noticed that the way we look is different from most transportation companies. Years ago, Averitt was one of the first companies in the industry to have uniforms, raising the bar for the image of the professional driver. That tradition continues today. Why is our image important? Customers prefer to do business with professional-looking people.
All drivers, dock associates, and mechanics are required to wear uniform items. Every year, drivers and dock associates receive a uniform allotment that can be used toward the purchase of new uniform items. We call this our Uniformity program.
To most people, a uniform speaks to how someone looks. But at Averitt, it also speaks to how we live. Because here, we're uniform in more than appearance. We're uniform in drive, in discipline, and in the pride we take in doing things right. Our uniform is a symbol of alignment, of many individuals moving with one intention, one direction, and one shared purpose. From the dock to the driver's seat, from logistics to leadership, we may have different roles, but we still move as one. We serve. We lead. We deliver together. Every stitch reflects our shared values. Every sleeve carries the weight of responsibility. Every time we put on our Averitt red, we carry forward a tradition of excellence built over fifty five years and counting. Because we don't just wear the uniform, we live the purpose behind it. That's Averitt. Uniform in purpose.
