Route Details:
- Pick up pre-loaded trailers in Lebanon, TN, and deliver merchandise (not food) to Cracker Barrel stores in 24states: AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MD, MI, MO, MS, NC, NJ, OH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI, WV
- Average 1,960 miles per week
- Drivers typically run 2 routes per week
- Runs vary throughout the week
- Merchandise is separated by a bulkhead for easy unloading (freight isn't mixed together)
- Drivers will unload using a ramp and two-wheel freight into the customer's storeroom (most stops take 1+ hours)
Training & Support:
- New drivers will ride with a dedicated Averitt driver for the first week to learn the customer's processes and procedures. Paid at $1,000 for the first week only
- During slower months (January - July), if not needed on this account, you'll be reassigned to another dedicated account to maintain weekly work
