Brian Jennings - Why Averitt? - "Averitt is Home"

I'm Brian Jennings, I'm a truckload driver out of  Knoxville, Tennessee, and I've been with Averitt   since 2014. I chose Averitt because I got tired of  the other carriers always messing with your pay,   talked to some guys from on tour logistics up  in Wytheville, Virginia and like what they had   to say. The benefits are awesome. It's one of  the best companies I've ever worked for because   there's benefits, they listen to you if you got  a problem, they take care of you, they don't,   you're just not a number you're a name here,  and that's one of the reasons I chose Averitt.   The benefits here are off the wall. They're  just excellent. The medical dental vision   they're just I mean second to none.  Profit sharing, time off, that's good,   we enjoy our time off. The benefits have helped  a lot with our medical. I have 15 year old that   had to get braces and it barely cost us any money  which is awesome. They cover my daughter, Peanut,   and she don't use them much, but when she needs  them, she's covered. Profit sharing is excellent,   I mean, everything here, I mean, who gives  you things like this and you enjoy where   you work? That's the best thing I got about  Averitt. The benefits are crazy,. The home   time situation with Averitt is second to none.  If they tell you you're gonna be home Friday,   nine out of ten times, you're gonna be home on  Friday. Your weekends are yours. Holidays, they're   paid and they want you to take them off when  you're on vacation, they tell you go on vacation   no don't work and we'll pay you go on vacation  take a break get away from the truck and that's   one of the things I really like about Averitt.  I tell people that I try to refer to Averitt,   if you're tired of the same old garbage with  the company you're with, put in an application,   check us out, I mean, I tell them the perks  the, you know, the benefits that are here,   the new equipment we drive, the tractors are,  there's nothing really over three years old here,   the trailers are less than five to six years  old. It's good equipment that doesn't break down.   You're home on the weekends and the pay is  pretty dargon good. As far as being with Averitt,   I'll retire here. I'm very  happy. Home, this is home.   The people are good, company's good, and this  is why I'm retiring here, if I ever retire!   I stay here at Averitt because I like it.  I heard a thing the other day, it said   if you love what you do, you should  love where you work, and I do both.
