National Truck Driver Appreciation Week is always a special time at Averitt. It gives us an opportunity to celebrate the professional associates who represent our team on the road every day and thank them for the skill, dedication and commitment to safety they bring to every mile.
This year, Averitt teams across our network found plenty of ways to say thank you. From breakfasts and cookouts to food trucks, sweet treats and even a movie day, our service centers spent the week celebrating the people who help keep our customers and communities moving.
Here’s a look back at some of the fun from Driver Appreciation Week 2026.

Averitt service centers across our network celebrated our professional associates throughout National Truck Driver Appreciation Week.
Good Food and Great Company
Food has a way of bringing people together, and there was certainly no shortage of it during Driver Appreciation Week.
In Miami, associates were treated throughout the week to Chick-fil-A breakfast biscuits, Firehouse Subs, Burger King croissants and a Cuban food truck.

Miami kept the celebration going all week with breakfast, lunch and a Cuban food truck.
In Louisville, the menu changed throughout the week, with lasagna kicking things off, Chick-fil-A on day two and a food truck breakfast wrapping up the week. Mr. Mason also stopped by to join associates for dinner Wednesday and breakfast Thursday.

Louisville associates enjoyed a week of special meals and time together during Driver Appreciation Week.
And the team in Harlingen got its celebration off to a strong start with an on-site breakfast featuring eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries and more.

Harlingen started Driver Appreciation Week with an on-site breakfast for the team.
Cookouts, Tacos and Cool Treats
Other locations fired up the grill or found their own ways to make mealtime a little more special.
In Tampa, associates enjoyed both a Cookout Day and Gelato Day during the week.

Cookout Day and Gelato Day gave Tampa associates two delicious reasons to celebrate.
At Atlanta East, Driver Appreciation Week included a taco bar for the team.

Meanwhile, Ocala brought in Travelin’ Tom’s Coffee Truck and offered grab-and-go pastries for associates on Tuesday.

Coffee and pastries were on the menu Tuesday in Ocala.
Making Time for a Little Fun
Not every celebration centered around a meal.
In Roanoke, the team headed toward the weekend with popcorn, candy and a movie on Thursday, followed by Bojangles and sweet treats Friday morning.

Roanoke mixed food and fun with a movie day, popcorn, candy and Friday morning treats.
And those celebrations were just part of what was happening across the Averitt network.
From Houston and Jackson to Tyler, Nashville, Norfolk, Orlando, Morristown, West Palm Beach, Augusta, Chattanooga, Knoxville, Richmond, Jacksonville, Tifton and Tallahassee, teams took time during the week to recognize our professional associates and show how much their contributions are appreciated.

One Week of Celebration, A Year-Round Appreciation
The meals, treats and celebrations may look different from one Averitt location to another, but the message behind all of them is the same: We appreciate what you do, and we’re glad you’re part of our team.
Our professional associates bring skill, care and a commitment to safety to the road every day. They take care of our customers, represent Averitt in communities throughout our network and help deliver the dependable service our customers count on.
Driver Appreciation Week gives us a chance to celebrate that contribution, but our gratitude extends far beyond one week.
To every Averitt professional associate: Thank you for the early mornings, the long days, the attention to detail and every safe mile along the way. You are our driving force.
