Dedicated Driver, Kernersville, NCAs a dedicated driver, you'll enjoy the benefits of consistent customers and predictable routes. With a clear understanding of your weekly miles and hours, you'll always know what to expect in your paycheck. Plus, since you'll be familiar with your customers and their typical freight loads, you can rest assured there won't be any surprises or delays.
Competitive Pay
- Average $1,475 per week / $76,700 per year
- Starting pay: $0.60 cpm
- Average miles: 1,800 miles
- Stop pay: $25 per stop (average 8 stops per week, with each stop averaging 30 minutes)

- Annual pay increase on your contract anniversary

- Monday to Friday schedule, with 2-3 nights out per week on average

Frequent & Predictable Routes
- Deliver within a 300-mile radius from Greensboro, NC
- Primarily deliver building materials such as dry wall, lumber, etc. to retail and non-retail locations
- Some deliveries will be palletized
Work Efficiency
- Pre-loaded trailers: Start your day with trailers ready to go
- No touch freight: only live unloads
- Strapping required for each load (straps provided)
- Tarping in inclement weather only (additional $10 per stop if required)
Equipment & Safety
- Sleeper tractors for overnight stays
- Hard hats and vests provided (must always be worn when out of the truck on property)
- Steel toe shoes required (driver must purchase)
