As a sales representative, you're the furthest thing from the everyday salesperson. You're more like a cross between a creative problem-solver and a relationship builder.
You will be in direct, daily contact with your customers, serving as a consultative partner for them as they incorporate transportation decisions into their overall business strategies. Our sales representatives enjoy moderate travel through local and regional markets as they locate shipping solutions to reduce costs for our current and future business partners, as well as maintain strong relationships. We rely on our sales representatives to be the face of our brand to our customers.
If you're like us, then talking to people and listening to their challenges makes you come alive. You love it when you can use what you know to help defeat those challenges in a creative way. And you love it even more when the solution is so good, it changes the way they do business.
I am Holly Moore. I'm Wendy Cheatham. My name is Mike Casper. My name is Amber Eanes. I work for Neotech Lighting. Yeah. I'm with Carlisle, Construction Materials. And I work for Schneider Electric in the Athens, Texas distribution center. So today, my experience at the Averitt Expo was fantastic. My experience so far at the Averitt Expo has been spectacular. It's nice to finally meet all the subject matter experts. I deal in an LTL world daily and come in and talk to someone that's from Dedicated or someone that does the international. It's it's very interesting. I guess the best way to say it is the power of one. You get to see everything that's going on from all of the different areas, all under one roof, housed together, and you get all of the subject matter experts at one place. So it's been great. We do predominant LTL shipments. So getting to come here and getting to meet those areas that we haven't been able to connect with, like international shipping, Averitt Connect, full truck load and talking to the individuals about how we can advance at our company with shipping and and making it simplistic. So the Averitt Expo has been great for connecting us with the people that we didn't have connections with before. One of the things that I'm excited about, we talked to international about, Mexico and Canada. And Mexico is really growing for us. We have a lot of shipments that go in and out of Mexico to the point where we went from LTL, now we wanna put our Mexico shipments on truckload, which is really helping us and it's a really better for our operation. But we also talked to some people in international because there are times we have a lot of international shipments that are oversized, and it's more gratitude from being invited. And so far tonight, it's been amazing. Just connecting with the different folks from different backgrounds, that's the biggest thing I've taken away from tonight's visit is just the camaraderie, the common interest that we all share just to help our, our different companies grow.
