Dedicated Flex Drivers

Our Dedicated Flex positions offer a good balance of driving for a variety of dedicated customers. That's a nice way of saying this isn't your typical dedicated driving position.

Being adaptable to change and having the desire to work with a wide variety of freight are key requirements for these positions. Our Flex drivers haul for a variety of customers, but will only work for 1 account/customer at a time (a minimum of 1 week or until the customer's needs are met) then haul another dedicated customer's product. 

Flex Drivers may occasionally be asked to drive within Averitt's other driving divisions, including regional truckload or local LTL delivery, among others, depending on business levels.

• Experienced Flex drivers average $90,000 per year with a guaranteed minimum of $72,800 per year (if available to work the entire week); that's an average of $1,700 per week with $1,400 guaranteed minimum each week
• Stop and loading/unloading pay (for most accounts)
• Detention, breakdown, and layover pay when applicable
• Company-sponsored per diem program
