This part-time driving position supports a dedicated local account based out of the Church Hill, TN drop yard. Drivers pick up pre-loaded trailers and deliver to various customer locations and warehouses. Freight is stable and predictable, with consistent weekday work and home-daily scheduling.

Pay & Schedule

• Weekly pay: $260-$520 per week, depending on the number of days worked (based on $26/hour).
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with hours determined day-to-day based on operational needs.
• Average hours: Typically 8-10 hours on the days worked.
• Start time: Around 7:00 AM for part-time shifts, working until the day's assignments are completed.

• Approximately 250 miles per day on days worked.

• Pick up trailers at the Church Hill, TN drop yard and deliver to customer locations or warehouses.
• Inspect all loads to ensure proper securement of racks and products.
• Haul crates and racks of glass (safe, stable freight).
• Some loads may include backhauls.

• Driver is required to move freight to the rear of the trailer using a hydraulic pallet jack on some deliveries. Driver is paid $6.00 per pallet.

• Regular dispatches, usually 2 trips per week

• Average $1,312 per week ($68,224 per year)
• Starting pay: 60.5 cpm
• Average of 2,000 miles per week
• $20.50 stop pay (average 5-8 stops per week)
