Marine Finds Home at Averitt

Over the next four years, Eric gained experience in close quarter combat, mountain and arctic warfare and as an advanced machinegunner. He spent time in Diego Garcia, Bahrain, Camp LeJeune and the Mediterranean Sea stationed on a ship. Eric was last stationed in Camp LeJeune with 3rd Battalion 2nd Marines India Co.

As a Marine, Eric learned leadership, motivation and discipline and developed countless positive personality traits that he applies daily in his position at Averitt.

After marrying in the Fall of 1999, he joined Averitt as night dispatcher for truckload. He soon became a Fleet Manager for Truckload and now helps protect over 8,800 fellow associates as a security coordinator.
