U.S. Air Force veterans Sam and Theresa Grinder are true representatives of how military veterans can make a strong impact on the everyday operations of Averitt. Sam is a leader with our purchasing team, and Theresa is a Truckload driver administrator. They both use their military skills and training to provide support to Averitt’s associates.
Sergeant Pete Ziegler, U.S. Marines (above), recalls his four years of active duty as “one of the greatest impacts on his life.” He served in 14 countries and was involved in numerous missions. As a former boatswain’s mate third class in the U.S. Coast Guard, Chris Stone understands what it takes to skillfully organize, lead and make split-second decisions. His dedication and leadership brought Chris to Averitt, where our culture shares many of the same values as the military.
